HABITAT FOR HUMANITY INFORMATION

Habitat for Humanity/Metro Jackson (HFH/MJ) is currently seeking property in Clinton to build a house for a family in need.  An affordable home starts with an affordable lot.  Donated property is tax deductible.  Property needs to be    suitable for residential building and have clear title.  Call Bill Osborne, HFH/MJ Property Director, if you know of available property for sale or donation:  (601) 353-6060.

Fitness Camp July 13-17th

Fitness Camp will be July 13-17th.   This is a program to”shape up” hearts, minds, and bodies and help kids discover a healthy lifestyle of nutrition and fitness so they can accomplish God’s purpose for their lives.  This will be a five-day Fitness Camp for kids who have completed first through sixth grades.  Registration is limited to 75 campers, so sign up soon!

Summer Bible Study

The Bible study, “Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed,” by Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore, and Kay Arthur will be from June 19—July 31.  This Bible study will be led by Mot Lyons in the Worship Center from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m.  The cost of the study book is $14.  Nursery provided.

Sound Operator Needed

The Friendship Ministry

The Friendship Ministry is a ministry by the church to the shut-ins and elderly of our community.  Volunteers will have the opportunity to become a friend to one who is not able to get out and about and may involve their family in this once monthly visitation.
