BigStuf
The BigStuf youth retreat, scheduled for June 7-11, is a fantastic beach retreat on the shores of Panama City Beach, Florida. It's a week-long camp for youth and their leaders, and it's a great mix of worship, teaching and fun. There are times of corporate worship, workshops, quiet time, group time, and recreation. Meals and lodging are provided by the organization, and included in the cost. BigStuf was organized in 1988, and is a nondenominational, non-profit ministry based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Holy Week Schedule
We have many activities planned for Holy Week, Starting April 1st. We hope you'll make plans to join us for some of these special events. April 1st—Maundy Thursday Service 7:00 p.m.—Sanctuary April 2nd—Good Friday Service 7:00 p.m.—Sanctuary April 3rd—Easter Eggstravaganza 10:00 a.m. in the gym EASTER SUNDAY SCHEDULE 6:30 Sunrise Service at front steps 7:00 Pancake Breakfast in Gym 8:15 Traditional Service/Sanctuary 10:00 Traditional Service/Sanctuary 10:45 Connection Service in Fellowship/Worship Center There will be no Sunday School or Sunday evening activities at the church on Easter Sunday.
Easter Eggstravaganza!
This exciting Easter Egg hunt for FUMC members is for children from toddler age to third grade. Meet in the FUMC gym at 10:00 a.m. on April 3rd for a craft time before heading outside to find eggs stuffed with candy. Bring your basket and get ready to hunt those eggs! Candy donations are being taken now in the church office. If you can help Renee stuff the eggs or otherwise prepare for the Eggstravaganza, please give her a call at 601-924-6671.
Wednesday Menu
Please come join us at 5:15 pm in the FUMC gym for a delicious meal for only $5 per adult meal ($3 for college students and children, $2 for children's pizza meal, maximum $15 per immediate family) Wednesday night supper menu for March 10th: Fried Chicken Tenders, Baked Potato with toppings, Green Beans, Roll, Tea and Dessert.
24 Hours
Join us in the Sanctuary and on Wednesday nights as Senior Minister Mitchell Hedgepeth leads a study on Adam Hamilton's book, 24 Hours That Changed the World. This study is designed to help the listener experience and understand the significance of Jesus' suffering and death in a way you have never done before. Whether you are a long-time Christian or simply curious about the story of Christ's crucifixion, you are invited to join in retracing the last 24 hours of Jesus' life.
