UMW Circle Information

Grace Circle meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and the Circle Leader is Pauline Akers. Naomi Circle meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The Circle leader is Margaret Davis. We would love to have you be a part of this organization. C.A.M.O. Kids

Christ’s Army/Mother’s Outing

C.A.M.O. Kids is a free baby-sitting ministry within FUMC for the parents of any age children. All baby-sitting will take place in the family home by a trained youth or young adult from the church. This ministry will provide the payment for the sitters from our fundraising efforts.

What is C.A.M.O. Kids?

⇒ A service project for youth
⇒ A need-based ministry to families in our church
⇒ A fundraising effort for youth ministry and missions
⇒ Fully funded by the everyday use of Kroger Shopping Cards

Position Available

CHURCH HOSTESS /HOST

First United Methodist Church of Clinton, MS seeks to fill the part-time position of Church Hostess/Host. The main requirement of this position is to plan, prepare and serve approximately 30 annual Wednesday night dinners and 11 monthly Adult Luncheons. Additional events with meals or refreshments may also occur. Number of hours of the position is dependent on the candidate’s level of involvement in inventory of supplies, placing orders, recruiting volunteers and other functions associated with event preparations. All applicants must pass criminal background check and provide excellent references for this position. Young Adult Breakfast

On January 8th during the Sunday School hour (9:55 a.m.) there will be a pot luck breakfast in the Gym for Young Adults.

Please bring a dish and join this group for breakfast and fellowship. Each Young Adult class teacher will share a few minutes about activities going on in their particular class.

Confirmation Classes
