Christ’s Army/Mother’s Outing

C.A.M.O. Kids is a free baby-sitting ministry within FUMC for the parents of any age children. All baby-sitting will take place in the family home by a trained youth or young adult from the church. This ministry will provide the payment for the sitters from our fundraising efforts.

What is C.A.M.O. Kids?

⇒ A fundraising effort for youth ministry and missions
⇒ Fully funded by the everyday use of Kroger Shopping Cards

Confirmation Classes

CONFIRMATION INFORMATION

We are excited to begin our Confirmation journey this year. We have seven students signed up to attend Confirmation Classes. Classes will be held in room 210 in the Gym on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 and Sunday mornings at 9:55. If you or someone you know would like to go through the confirmation process, please feel free to join us at one of these meeting times.

Quarters for Change

Children’s Sunday School classes will be collecting quarters during the month of December to give to the Methodist Children’s Home. They will be putting quarters in a “change collector” card. When the card is filled, it will hold $10 in quarters!

Our Weekday Ministries Program is also participating in this project.

Happy Birthday Jesus

Children ages 3 through 5th grade will love this party. On December 4, the children will go to their normal Sunday school room, and will be escorted to the gym. There will be several stations to visit, with Christmas stories and a live nativity provided by the youth of our church. A snack will finish up the party. This annual event is enjoyed by everyone and we hope to see you there!

God’s Kids Grow

UMCF activities will start back on Wednesday night, August 24th. I think the children and the leaders will love what we have planned—GOD’S KIDS GROW!——FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. God’s Kids Grow will help you and your children learn how the Fruit of God’s Spirit grows in our lives and help us to know God better. Class is from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in the Education Building. We will meet in the gym and walk over together. Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering to help lead this class.Hope to see you and your children at UMCF beginning August 24th.

Easter Eggstravaganza!

This exciting Easter Egg hunt for FUMC members is for children from toddler age through sixth grade. Meet in the FUMC gym at 10:00 a.m. on April 23rd for a craft time before heading outside to find eggs stuffed with candy. Bring your basket and get ready to hunt those eggs!

Candy donations are being taken now in the church office. If you can help Renee stuff the eggs or otherwise prepare for the Eggstravaganza, please give her a call at 601-924-6671.

Happy Birthday Jesus

Happy Birthday Jesus is a party for children. They will see a living nativity, and hear a special story, and end with enjoying birthday cake to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Bring children from preschool through 6th grade to the FUMC gym this Sunday during the Sunday School hour and enjoy this special party.
