Youth Minister Wanted

FUMC is seeking a committed, passionate, motivated person who loves the Lord and is able to effectively reach, lead, equip, and train youth (7th – Post High). This is a full time salaried position. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree from a college or university and/or 3 to 4 years of experience. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: relational/spiritual growth in the youth; developing a team of youth leaders; planning, directing and communicating youth activities including weekly meetings, service projects, retreats, mission trips, fundraisers and special events. Submit a cover letter including philosophy of youth ministry and resume by May 12, 2012 to: Rev. Mitchell B. May 20th is Baccalaureate Sunday.

Please make sure that Stevie Jones has your senior’s name on our graduation list (high school or college). A baby picture and a formal senior photo for high school students is needed. We need information about the number in your family attending the luncheon for our high school students which will be following the 10:45 worship service. RSVP to Stevie at stevie@fumcclinton.org

BreakThru is December 27-30 at camp TimberCreek. BreakThru has been a FUMC Clinton tradition for over 30 years! Mark your calendars for this awesome retreat. The cost will be $195 until November 30th, then the cost will go up to $215.

Blue Bayou Trip

Join the FUMC youth on July 12th for a trip to Baton Rouge’s Blue Bayou Water Park. The van will leave the church at 7:30 a.m. and return that evening. All participants should bring a $45 entry fee, in addition to sunscreen, modest swim suit, towel, and spending money. Contact Stevie Jones for more information.

Youth Superbowl Party
