The weekend of Dec 2nd-4th a group of volunteers from FUMC Clinton will be headed to Beaumont TX to participate in a Weekend of Champions prison ministry event hosted by the Champions for Life Ministry. This is open to men and women and only requires your time and willingness to share Jesus’ love with incarcerated individuals. The Weekend of Champions format creates a natural and easy environment for lay persons to share the gospel message using a simple booklet with inmates who want to know if Jesus really is the answer they are searching for.
The group from our church would leave at 8:00am on Thursday and return Sunday morning. Registration deadline is Nov 3rd. For more information, call Bill and Doris Earnest at 362-1855.
