Descriptions of our Ministries:
Sunday School : We have a 7th-8th grade class, 9th-10th grade class, and 11th-12th grade class that meet at 9:55 upstairs in the family life building. We begin with a little juice and donuts before announcements and a prayer. Then we break up into the individual classes.
Youth Worship : We meet each Sunday night at 7:00pm for a snack supper in “The Well” upstairs in the Family Life Building. Music is led by our worship band. Sprinkled with an element of fun, the night includes speakers and programs that show the difference Jesus can make in our lives and the difference living for Him can make in the world around us.
Small Group : During the school year we meet for small groups immediately after the Wednesday evening meal. Small groups are lead by adult and college volunteers who invest in the lives of our students. The focus is Bible study, fellowship and accountability.
Prayer Breakfast : Each Tuesday morning (during the school calendar), 7:00 AM at Chick-Fil-A we meet for breakfast and a short devotional/prayer. Transportation is be provided to the schools.
Youth Choir : Youth choir meets every Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the choir room (3rd floor of sanctuary building). The youth choir has several performances during the year and a youth choir trip at the beginning of the summer.
Elevation Weekend : A weekend retreat at the end of August. It is a great start to the new semester to be both challenged and encouraged while enjoying the company of other fellow students.
BreakThru : (Christmas Break) December 28-31. A major winter retreat that happens at Camp Timber Creek just south of Forest, MS. Our church has a long history w/ BreakThru. It is designed for students grades 7-12.
BigStuf Camp : (Summer) A fantastic beach retreat on the shores of Panama City Beach, Florida. A great mix of worship, teaching, and fun!
Spring Break Trips : We have done everything from Ski Trips to beach trips, mountain retreats, and mission work. Each time is quite the adventure.
Mission Trips : Each year there are multiple opportunities to serve both locally and abroad. There are mission outreaches here in the Metro area, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and even in Eastern Europe and Central America.
